No sign of missing Proctor teacher

Carlton County authorities and the Minnesota State Patrol -- using a helicopter -- searched without success Friday for a Proctor High School teacher who has been missing since Wednesday while being investigated for inappropriate sexual conduct.

Kyle Neumann was reported missing from his Thomson Township home by his wife, Gretchen, according to the Town of Thomson Police Department.

Lt. Rick Lake of the Carlton County Sheriff's Office and Thomson Township Police Chief Tom Foldesi issued a news release Friday afternoon stating that a search had been conducted within Carlton County as well as the last locations Neumann had been seen. However, neither the missing man, nor his vehicle were found.

Anyone with information about Neumann's disappearance is asked to call 911.
