A Nisswa, Minn., man was killed Monday in an one-car accident on Minnesota Highway 371.
Ross A. Brooks, 23, was killed when the Honda Accord he was driving north ran off the right side of the highway and hit a tree, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Two passengers were injured in the accident. Lacey J. Warta, 17, of Brainerd, Minn., suffered non-life threatening injuries and Wayne J. Compton, 18, of Nisswa, was treated and released, the state patrol reported.
The accident occurred at 6:54 p.m. south of Nisswa, which lies north of Brainerd.
