Nicole Niskala and Jeremiah Engen, both of Ely, plan to be married Feb. 23 in St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Ely.
Her parents are Bob and Donna Niskala of Ely. His mother is Paula Engen of Duluth.
The future bride, a 1996 graduate of Ely Memorial High School, graduated from St. Cloud (Minn.) State University and completed two Microsoft certification programs. She works for the Minnesota Department of Revenue in Ely.
The future groom, a 1998 graduate of Ely Memorial High School, works for Anderson Construction Services of Ely.
