Thursday night, people will get to explore Glensheen Mansion during its Night at the Museum event. The free event will give visitors the chance to walk around the mansion on self-guided tours from 6-9 p.m. Experts will be stationed around the mansion to showcase some of the new spaces and restoration of the home.
Glensheen will also be illuminated around the 12-acre estate, including newly renovated spaces like the stone arch bridge overlook and hammock forest. The vegetable gardens and tennis court will also be open to the public. There will also be a cash bar and snack from food trucks on the estate.
The Night at the Museum event reached capacity quickly last year, with 1,300 individuals attending. The tours will be first come, first served as reservations won’t be available. For more details, visit glensheen.org/event/night-at-the-museum-3 .
