Nicole Nielsen and Stuart Waters, both of Cloquet, plan to be married Aug. 2 at Spirit Mountain in Duluth.
Her parents are Lee and Joyce Gvesrude of Hermantown and Rod and Leilani Nielsen of Grand Rapids. His parents are Steve and Nancy Waters of Duluth.
The future bride, a 1994 graduate of Denfeld High School, graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2001 with a master's degree in speech pathology. She is a speech pathologist for the school district of Superior.
The future groom, a 1998 graduate of Denfeld High School, graduated from Lake Superior College in Duluth in 2001 with an associate degree in fire technology and administration and from Hibbing Community College in 2005 with an associate degree in paramedicine. He is a firefighter/paramedic for the Cloquet Fire Department.
