A suicide note was found in his vehicle.

Missing man found

Todd Hennemuth, the 51-year-old man who went missing Thursday for about 11 hours, was returned to the Brevator Township group home where he lives Thursday night.

St. Louis County Search and Rescue Squad Capt. Tom Crossmon said Hennemuth, a vulnerable adult who was reported missing around 11:10 a.m. Thursday, apparently hitched a ride to Koochiching County. He was found when he tried to check into a hotel.

Crossmon said he didn't know if Hennemuth knew whoever gave him a ride. Nor did he know what Hennemuth was trying to do in Koochiching County.

Crossmon said Hennemuth was in good physical condition when he was found.
