Jeff Peters of Mellen, Wis., has created a Historical Deer Hunting Calendar using black and white photos of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan deer camps and deer hunters. Each month features a venison recipe as well. Some of the photos in the calendar go back to the 1800s. Deer facts and photos of large bucks from recent years complete the calendar.
