The Monday after Thanksgiving was a good day for NetShops, the Omaha, Neb., company that recently acquired Internet retailer Thralow Inc. of Proctor.
NetShops Web sites said the company had more than $1 million in sales at the its 100 online stores. That's a 65 percent increase from Cyber Monday a year ago.
The Monday after Thanksgiving, known as Cyber Monday, is one of the biggest online shopping days of the year. Some 6,500 orders were shipped that day, according to a news release.
NetShops expects to sell even more on Dec. 11. It projects $1.5 million in sales and 8,500 orders shipped.
