Nothing says "love bites" like a band with "vampire" in its name.

Last spring, the Minneapolis magazine Reveille said of the band Vampire Hands' most recent album: " 'Me and You Cherry Red' is a dusty little gem of a record with a fine balance of electronic and organic elements, of sprawling fuzziness and concise melodies, of expansive experimentation and straightforward songwriting."

Check out their melodies for yourself when Vampire Hands plays Pizza Luce, 11 E. Superior St., Saturday as part of a three-band lineup that includes the Tisdales and the Undesirables.

The all-ages show starts at 11 p.m. and tickets are $5.
