One of the hosts of a national radio news show will be broadcasting from Duluth on Friday morning.
Noel King, a host of National Public Radio’s “Morning Edition,” will broadcast from the Minnesota Public Radio studio in downtown Duluth, MPR announced.
King has been in Northeastern Minnesota this week reporting on the political climate in the 8th Congressional District ahead of next week’s election, said Maria Isley, MPRs regional manager.
In posts on Twitter, King said she’s looking at the 8th as one that could flip from Democratic-held to Republican-held in the election.
“Morning Edition” is broadcast from 4-9 a.m. weekdays on area public radio stations, including 100.5 FM in Duluth.
