Bursting onto the Minneapolis music scene this past year, Peter Wolf Crier released their debut album "Inter Be" in May. The album has gained popularity for its mix of folk, blues, and pop, while still retaining an original sound. This original sound is mainly caused by Peter Pisano's unique vocal style. Singing in both falsetto and chest voice, he puts forth the emotion of the lyrics with strength. Drummer Brian Moen adds simple rhythms and touches of keyboard to keep a large sound to seemingly simple melodies and chords. The album was recorded in a cabin in northwest Wisconsin, and the production quality helps add some ambience, as well as retaining more of a live sound. This all comes together for an exciting and interesting live show. Pisano uses his voice to add power and strength to the already interesting music. With songs featured in television shows such as NBC's Chuck, Peter Wolf Crier is quickly gaining recognition as one of the Midwest's best new bands of 2010.
