A Red Wing, Minn., was seriously injured when he drove his motorcycle off the right side of U.S. Highway 53 this afternoon.
Minnesota State Police said Patrick J. Anderson, 44, of Red Wing, was northbound on Highway 53 about 10 miles south of Eveleth when he drove his 2001 Harley Davidson off the road at 12:45 p.m.
No information on Anderson's condition was available. Police said his injuries were not life-threatening.
