A motorcyclist was injured after hitting a piece of debris while traveling northbound on I-35 near Proctor.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that Michael J. Manning, 28, of Wrenshall, lost control and ran into a guardrail after hitting the debris at 8:13 a.m. Wednesday. Manning sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center. The motorcycle was moderately damaged, according to the State Patrol.
