A motorcyclist was injured Wednesday evening in Superior when he drove into a blocked off section of road that washed out during the June 20 flood.
Witnesses told police the man drove between the barricades on Marina Drive near Barker's Island and dropped into the washout area about 8:40 p.m., according to a news release from the Superior Police Department. The man was in shallow water and nonresponsive when emergency responders arrived at the scene.
He was transported to a Duluth hospital by Gold Cross Ambulance, according to police.
