More road closures announced in Duluth

There will be a temporary closure of Second Street between Fourth Avenue East and 12th Avenue East for the purpose of road milling and paving.

Milling operations will commence on Second Street starting Thursday and continue through Friday. The limits of the milling will take place between Fourth Avenue East to 12th Avenue East.

Also included in this operation will be a one-block area from Mesaba Avenue to the St. Louis County Courthouse. This section of road will be milled on Thursday and paved on Friday.

Paving operations on Second Street between Fourth Avenue East and 12th Avenue East will commence on Friday and continue on Saturday, July 17, and more than likely include Monday.

Commuters and residents should be aware of posted "No Parking" signs in the milling and paving areas for the duration of the work.
