A slow-moving low continues to plod around Hudson Bay and it still looks like it may backtrack just enough to bring some snow flurries mixed with rain today and Tuesday. The best zone for this to happen will be in the Arrowhead of Minnesota. The chance there is 40 percent but it won't be a blizzard capable of giving sled heads and ski buffs an early season. Accumulations should be zero because the ground is still too warm for snow to stick.
Other towns from Duluth to Ironwood will have a lesser chance for plain old rain showers. Southern cities from Moose Lake to Hayward may pull off a sunny and dry day. Today's highs should go from 43 by the lake to 52 well inland. It will be another windy day with northwesterly breezes blasting up to 25 mph.
The precipitation chance slacks off to only 20 percent on Tuesday and then a few dry days should come calling before another rain chance comes around by the weekend. That should indeed be rain because day and night temps will range from 40 to 53 on Saturday and Sunday.
