If you have plans to be outside today, make sure you keep an eye to the sky. Temperatures will climb into the upper 70s to low 80s, and an advancing cold front from the north will bring us showers and thunderstorms, some of which have the potential to become severe. The biggest threat will be gusty winds, heavy rain and hail, but an isolated tornado is not out of the question.

An area of high pressure will work into the region late tonight, giving us pleasant weather Tuesday and Wednesday.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, high 77, low 55.
