After another bitterly cold start, temperatures will climb into the teens and 20s with increasing clouds. However, as a weak disturbance approaches the region, winds will switch to the west and southwest and increase in intensity. As a result, wind chills will stay near and below zero for the majority of the day.
Scattered snow showers will develop after sunset today with as much as a dusting to an inch accumulating by tomorrow morning. The gusty winds will create some blowing snow tonight as temperatures hold steady in the teens.
