In the Coast Guard Auxiliary weather class I teach to boaters, the term "col" is used when the air pressure is neither high nor low. Today will be like that as Sunday's weak trough of lower pressure leaves and Tuesday's ridge of higher pressure comes in.
Today, then, should be partly cloudy without a rain chance. Highs regionwide will range from 72 to 77. The normal is about 75. The wind will be northwest 5-10 mph. The dew point will be in the low 50s, which is comfortable for most people.
Tuesday should be mostly sunny from the expected cell of high pressure. It will skidaddle by Wednesday to be replaced by a decent chance of rain. That may last through Thursday. Friday should be sunny but a little cooler than normal.
