MnDOT begins 2-year Highway 37 project Monday

Minnesota Department of Transportation contractors will begin a two-year project Monday on Highway 37 in Gilbert and Fayal.

Construction for this season includes milling and overlay work and turn and bypass lane construction between Highway 37 and Highway 53, according to a news release from MnDOT. In Gilbert, there will be resurfacing, sidewalk, curb and gutter replacement as well as utility and lighting improvements between Kansas and Virginia avenues and Indiana and Dakota avenues.

Motorists will encounter flagging and lane switches, including single-lane traffic in Gilbert.
