After more than a three-hour search, a 76-year-old Duluth woman with Alzheimer's disease was located Sunday evening by a relative.
The woman was walking on the Western Waterfront Trail near the Tappa Keg Inn, in the 7000 block of Grand Avenue, when she became separated from her group at about 4:10 p.m.
She was recovered, unharmed, on the Lakewalk near Snap Fitness in Lakeside around 7:25 p.m.
Assisting in the search were the Duluth Fire Department, the St. Louis County Search and Rescue Squad and the Duluth Police Department.
