The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and law enforcement agencies in nine north central Minnesota counties are requesting the public's help in locating 15 predatory offenders.
BCA investigators have warrants for the arrest of most of the offenders, all of whom are noncompliant with the state's requirements for predatory offenders to keep the BCA informed about their primary and secondary addresses, employment, and vehicles they own or operate.
"The criminal justice community is working diligently to ensure predatory offenders comply with registry requirements and track down those who don't comply," BCA Assistant Superintendent David Bjerga said in a news release. "We're reaching out to the public today because leads on the whereabouts of these non-compliant offenders have begun to run dry."
The predators the BCA is seeking are:
Larry Marshall Leach, 48, last known address County Hwy 10, Frazee. Leach has tattoos on both upper arms.
Albert Benaise III, 20, last known address Fifth Street NW, Bemidji. Benaise has a scar on his forehead. CAUGHT!!
Seth Ambrose Bissonette, 67, last known address Roosevelt Road SE, Bemidji.
Charles Warren Mentges, 56, last known address Fourth Street NW, Bemidji.
Brian Allen Platt, 27, last known address Trengove Road NW, Solway. Platt has a scar on his left leg. FOUND - INCARCERATED IN CALIFORNIA!
Joseph Allen Jones Jr., 26, homeless in Cass Lake. Jones has a pierced left ear, scars on both eyebrows, and tattoos on his chest, right shoulder, left wrist and hand, right upper arm and shoulder.
Timothy Jay Mercier Sr., 42, last known address Fifth Street, Pine River. Mercier has scars on his left wrist, ankle and leg.
Robert Allen Smith, 60, last known address Mae Bill Drive NE, Longville. Smith has scars on his neck and abdomen.
Nicholas Franklin Edwards, 29, last known address Third Street NE, Crosby. Edwards has a scar on his left hand. CAUGHT!!
David Benjamin Johnston, 54, last known address Rosewood Street, Brainerd. Johnston has scars on his forehead, left wrist and right arm and wrist, and tattoos on his right and left arms.
Lowry Dean Scarlett, 60, last known address P.O. Box 175, Clearbrook. Scarlett has scars on his cheek, chest, left forearm and left leg, and has tattoos on his left and right arms.
Dale Anthony Roach, 64, last known address Wejack Road, Cass Lake. Roach has a tattoo on his left forearm and scars on his left eyebrow, forehead, abdomen, left arm and knee.
Deandre Demone Bratton, 22, last known address Gateway Drive NW, East Grand Forks. Bratton has scars on his right hand and leg. TURNED HIMSELF IN!
Home Tyloung, 60, last known address Third Lakewood Avenue, Warroad. Tyloung has tattoos on his arms.
