Minnesota Power crews are looking for the exact location where an underground cable went bad Thursday.
Repairing the line shouldn't require turning electricity off to any customers, since power was re-routed around the bad section of cable Thursday, Minnesota Power spokesman Paul Brissett said.
The cable developed a problem Thursday afternoon, which caused a circuit breaker to open around 4 p.m., cutting off power to a number of buildings in downtown Duluth. Power was restored by re-routing power around the bad section of line. Power was completely restored around 6:15 p.m.
