Twice as nice

When we planned our wedding, we had two requirements: we wanted our grandparents as our witnesses and we wanted a small ceremony on the beach in Mexico. My grandmas are two of my best friends and two of the bravest women alive.I wasn't going to get married without them, but they weren't going to go toMexico.

Since we couldn't have both at the same time, we had two ceremonies. First, we had a small ceremony at our church that included our grandparents as our witnesses. The next morning, we flew down to Playa del Carmen with our family for a ceremony on the beach.
