A “Meet on the Street” event will be held this afternoon in Duluth’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. It’s free and open to the public.
Third Street will be closed to traffic between 24th and 27th avenues west to make room for people to “bike, dance, climb, bounce, and groove together as a community,” organizers reported.
From 2-5 p.m. there will be free food served by the Duluth Police Department, music, a climbing wall, bike rodeo, bounce house, games and more.
“We want to bring our neighbors together so they can see what our community has to offer. Lincoln Park is a beautiful area and it is important to build our community,” Missy Meyer, event coordinator with Lincoln Park Children and Families Collaborative, said in a news release.
