Scott A. Anderson Sr., 48, Cloquet, first count of driving while impaired, 365 days in local confinement, 362 days stayed on two years of probation with conditions including six consecutive days in jail or NERCC, DWI Program and $1,200 DWI court fee; second count of driving while impaired and violation of a restricted driver’s license, dismissed.

April 10

Gary D. Ainsworth, 56, Faribault, Minn., driving after revocation and inattentive driving, dismissed.

Carole S. Ostrander, 39, Hopkins, Minn., operating a motor vehicle with a prohibited blood-alcohol content, fined $1,000 and 90 days in local confinement, time stayed on one year of probation with conditions including Victim Impact Panel; driving while under the influence of alcohol and driver involved in accident failed to stop, dismissed.

 

April 11

Robert B. Gustafson Jr., 38, Duluth, domestic assault, fined $50 and 18 months in prison, time stayed on three years of probation with conditions including three days in local confinement and Domestic Abuse Batterer’s Intervention Program; interfering with an emergency call and child endangerment, dismissed.

Sheldon D. Kingbird, 30, Duluth, driving after cancellation - inimical danger to public safety, fined $50 and 180 days in local confinement.

Molly L. R. Smith, 19, Duluth, misdemeanor theft by shoplifting, continued for dismissal on one year of probation with conditions including one shift at the Damiano Center before July 1.

Connor C. Swanson, 19, Minnetrista, Minn., driver’s license violation - using a fictitious name/date-of-birth, false statements - concealed material fact - fraud, continued for dismissal on one year of probation with conditions including picking up one bag of trash from the beach by May 1.

 

April 12

Lawrence E. Boddy Jr., 44, Duluth, seven counts of violation of a domestic abuse no-contact order, dismissed.

Laurie E. Briggs, 23, Duluth, felony theft, dismissed.

Tawarn E. Carter, 32, Duluth, driving after revocation, fined $200.

Austin J. Clement, 21, Duluth, gross-misdemeanor theft, fined $50 and 180 days in local confinement or NERCC, 131 days stayed on two years of probation with conditions.

Justin M. Closson, 38, Superior, driving after suspension (offense date 10/28/11) and first count of driving after revocation (offense date 2/16/12), adjudication stayed on one year of probation with condition of no same or similar offense and a $300 fine - per each count concurrent; second count of driving after revocation (offense date 2/10/13), third count of driving after revocation (offense date 2/24/13) and fourth count of driving after revocation (offense date 11/13/13), dismissed.

Don J. Guthrie Jr., 23, Duluth, trespassing - returning after demand to leave, three counts of trespassing - returning to property within one year and four counts of trespassing - building or dwelling, dismissed.

Joseph M. Huber, 45, Red Wing, Minn., exceeding allowable 80,000 pound gross weight, fined $300.

Matthew C. Jorgenson, 19, Hugo, Minn., underage consumption, fined $100.

Jamar D. Kirk, 41, Duluth, violation of predatory offender registration requirements (offense date 12/1/14), fined $50 and 36 months in prison, time stayed on three years of probation with conditions.

Cheryl C. Lawson, 31, Louisville, Ky., first count of driving after revocation (offense date 3/27/13) and second count of driving after revocation (offense date 7/4/14), fined $200 per each count; illegal use of license plates, no proof of insurance and driving after revocation, fined $815 total.

Glen J. Maki, 43, Duluth, driving after revocation (offense date 7/29/14), fined $200.

Joseph W. Miller, 30, Duluth, criminal damage to property, dismissed.

Alyssa G. Nesvold, 21, Sandstone, driving after revocation, continued for dismissal on one year of probation with conditions and $100 court costs.

Dylan H. Peterson, 18, Isanti, Minn., possession or sale of small amount of marijuana, fined $50.

Daniel P. Polonia, 35, Duluth, driving after suspension and uninsured vehicle, fined $200 per each count.

Rachel L. Schug-Angellar, 43, Duluth, two counts of disorderly conduct - offensive/abusive/noisy/obscene, continued for dismissal on one year of probation with condition of no same or similar offense - per each count; disturbance - tampering with a fire alarm and two counts of disorderly conduct - offensive/abusive/noisy/obscene, dismissed.

Jovon A. Smallwood, 20, Duluth, underage consumption, dismissed.

Mariah K. Smith, 23, St. Paul, driving after suspension, fined $200.

Barbara J. Stevens, 32, Duluth, misdemeanor theft by shoplifting and trespassing - returning to property within one year, dismissed.

Archie K. Trent Jr., 65, Keokuk, Iowa, commercial motor vehicle - record of duty status not current (log book), fined $50.
