Scott E. Obrecht, 39, Duluth, fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, adjudication stayed on five years of probation with conditions including 147 days in local confinement; terroristic threats and driving while impaired, dismissed.

Aug. 7

Henry W. Backus, 19, Cloquet, underage consumption, fined $100.

Leah M. Bennett, 21, Duluth, careless driving, continued for dismissal, one year, with condition of no same or similar offense.

Christopher J. Butchee, 27, Duluth, first count of sale of a controlled substance, fined $50 and 33 months in prison, time stayed on three years of probation with conditions including 208 days in local confinement and $3,450 restitution; second count of sale of a controlled substance, 45 months in prison, time stayed on three years probation with conditions including 208 days in local confinement - concurrent to first count; four counts of controlled substance crime and four counts of sale of a controlled substance, dismissed.

Timothy C. Stauffenecker Jr., 23, Duluth, criminal vehicular operation resulting in substantial bodily harm, fined $50 and 15 months in prison, time stayed on three years of probation with conditions including 180 days in local confinement, Victim Impact Panel, a written letter of apology and $1,335 restitution; criminal vehicular operation resulting in substantial bodily harm while driving under the influence of a controlled substance and driver who caused accident left scene, dismissed.

John T. Atkinson, 67, Federal Dam, driving after cancellation and no insurance, fined $200 per each count.

Troy T. Georges, 38, Minneapolis, possession of a controlled substance, fined $50 and 19 months in prison, time stayed on three years of probation with conditions including 35 days in local confinement.

Jacob R. Goulet, 37, Chippewa Falls, Wis., no breakaway brake system, fined $200.

Joshua P. Hegge, 35, Two Harbors, driving while impaired, fined $2,000 and one year in local confinement, $1,000 and time stayed on two years of probation with conditions including Victim Impact panel, driver improvement clinic and Ignition Interlock Program in lieu of 48 hours in jail and 30 days electronic monitoring.

John P. Lafferty, 23, Duluth, driving while impaired, fined $1,000 and 90 days in local confinement, time stayed on one year of probation with conditions including Victim Impact Panel; operating a motor vehicle with a prohibited blood-alcohol content and inattentive driving, dismissed.

Danielle A. Lamberton, 27, Duluth, driving while impaired, fined $1,000 and 90 days in local confinement, time stayed on one year of probation with conditions including Victim Impact Panel; driving while under the influence of alcohol, dismissed.

Alexander J. Long, 22, Duluth, marijuana in motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia, fined $50 per each count.

Stephanie J. Markus, 40, Duluth, domestic assault, continued for dismissal, one year, with condition of no same or similar offense.

Dillon L. Olson, 26, Duluth, possession of drug paraphernalia, fined $50.

Jorden J. Otto, 24, Duluth, disorderly conduct - offensive/abusive/noisy/obscene, fined $50 and four days in local confinement.

Christopher K. Paitrick, 34, Duluth, fugitive, extradition waived.

Kenneth G. Roebke, 63, Embarrass, driving 99 mph in a 65 mph zone, fined $300.

Jeffrey R. Transue, 29, St. Paul, receiving stolen property, fined $50 and 13 months in prison, time stayed on five years of probation with conditions including four days in local confinement, Domestic Abuse Intervention Program and $164 restitution.

Angela M. Warn, 49, Duluth, careless driving, fined $500 and 60 days in local confinement, $200 and time stayed on one year of probation with condition of no same or similar offense; driving while under the influence of a controlled substance and marijuana in vehicle, dismissed.
