Derek Randall had three saves for the Hilltoppers (6-1, 5-0) while Jon Lillie made seven stops for the Rails (3-5,2-5).

The host Rails scored two first-half goals to win the LSC game over the Hilltoppers.

Kara Cloutier and Rachel Rossiter tallied for the Rails (5-3, 3-1), who knocked out the Hilltoppers (3-4, 2-2) in a shootout in the 2006 section playoffs.
