Minnesota native Martin Zellar is bringing his popular Neil Diamond Tribute show to Duluth's Fourth Fest on Wednesday at Bayfront Festival Park.
Gates to the park open at 4 p.m. and music, including Zellar, the local soul/funk band Big Wave Dave and the Ripples and Lake City Smokin' Section, starts at 5 p.m. Fireworks begin at 10:10 p.m. and will be synchronized with a musical program broadcast on NU92 92.1 FM.
Events in the park are free and open to the public.
For a different perspective: The Vista Fleet has two cruises: The Star Spangled Dinner & Fireworks cruise and the Vista Queen's Elegant 4th of July cruise.
The Mighty Thomas Carnival is open all day with rides and games.

It's not part of Fourth Fest, but Hairball plays at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Bayfront Festival Park, with special guests Old Voltage, Ladies of the 80s and Boogie Wonderland. Tickets are $13 and available on etix.com.

CLOQUET
A day of family friendly events includes a 5K race at 8 a.m. Wednesday, a Veterans Celebration parade on Cloquet Ave. from 18th to Fifth St., and patriotic music by the Cloquet Community Band at Veterans Park.
The afternoon is filled with games, music, a magic show and fireworks to close out the night.
LAKE NEBAGAMON
There are two parades in Lake Nebagamon: The first starts at 4 p.m. Wednesday behind the Lake Nebagamon Laundromat and winds through town; the other includes decorated boats and starts at 7 p.m. at Honeymoon Point and tours along the shore to the public beach.
Fireworks start at dusk.

Family Fun Day starts at noon Wednesday behind the Lake Nebagamon Auditorium and includes family games and prizes.
Still feeling festive on Thursday? There is a classic car cruise through downtown Lake Nebagamon from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
MADELINE ISLAND
Madeline Island Museum is hosting a Civil War Sesquicentennial program "Civil War Stories from Madeline Island and Chequamegon Bay" at 7 p.m. Thursday.
The presentation is part of Madeline Island's Thursday night summer lecture series and will look at the impact of the Civil War on communities on Chequamegon Bay, including topics like: the role of the region's natural resources on the war, the impact of the war on the Ojibwe community and what happened in the post-war era.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
TWO HARBORS
Two Harbors' annual Heritage Days celebration includes a concert in the park at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Thomas Owen Park and fireworks at about 9:50 p.m. at the South Ave. Depot area.

The kiddie parade starts at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, followed by another concert in the park, a classic car cruise and a teen dance.
Don't Panic plays the street dance on Friday at 8 p.m. on First Ave.

SUPERIOR
The annual Fourth of July parade starts at 11 a.m. near Superior High School and goes west on N. 28th St. before heading south on Hammond Ave. to Superior Middle School. The Superior Singers will give a
patriotic-themed performance at 1 p.m. at Heritage Park, followed by the Tom Petty tribute band Free Fallin', which plays from 2-6 p.m. on the corner of N. 12th St.
The Bugs play a show at 7 p.m. at the fairgrounds, followed by fireworks at the Bong Memorial Airport at dusk.
The Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center is offering free admission for veterans on Wednesday. It's open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
