The St. Louis County Sheriff's Department identified the 24-year-old Britt man killed in a one-vehicle accident Sunday as Joel Scott Anderson.
Anderson, who was driving, died at the scene of the one-car accident just before 3 a.m. Sunday, which occurred on Reid Road near Britt.
Passenger Sam Augustin, 24, was transported to Virginia Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
Reid Road was icy and slippery at the time of the accident, according to the sheriff's department.
