The Wisconsin State Patrol has identified the Minong man killed in a rollover crash Wednesday near Spooner.
Gary H. Degeest, 47, was the driver of the 1998 Ford F150 that rolled along U.S. Highway 53 near the Wisconsin Highway 70 overpass, about a mile east of Spooner. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His passenger, 21-year-old Danielle D. Puig, was taken to the Spooner Health System emergency room with non-life-threatening injuries.
The single-vehicle crash remains under investigation by the State Patrol.
