A home invasion in Duluth’s Lincoln Park neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon resulted in a 40-year-old Duluth man being punched and kicked before the suspects fled the scene, authorities said.
Duluth police reported that three male suspects, one wielding brass knuckles and one a knife, forced open the back door of a home on the 2500 block of West Second Street about 2:45 p.m.
Authorities said the suspects approached the occupant and told him they wanted his roommate’s belongings.
The suspects then took some personal property belonging to the victim, who was assaulted before the men left the home. Authorities said it was not a random act and that they are following additional leads. Anyone with further information on the case is asked to call 911.
