A 36-year-old man died in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 53 in Superior on Friday evening.
The Superior Police Department reported that a vehicle traveling east on Highway 53 at Clough Avenue on the city’s north side apparently struck the median, left the roadway and rolled several times just after 5:30 p.m.
The driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to a Duluth hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The identity of the victim was not released Friday night pending notification of relatives.
