A 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with felonies after reports of gunshots in the Lincoln Park neighborhood on Tuesday.
Jericho Naxari Alexander, of Duluth, was charged with felony second-degree assault and drive-by shooting after he allegedly robbed someone during a drug deal near North 24th Avenue West and West Third Street, according to the criminal complaint. He is currently being held in St. Louis County Jail.
According to the criminal complaint:
During a drug deal early Tuesday morning, Alexander allegedly robbed a man of $100, leading to a chase between the two. The robbery victim was connected with Alexander via a woman, who said Alexander would sell him narcotics.
During the chase, Alexander entered a camper parked behind a residence located near North 24th Avenue West and West Second Street. It was occupied by two other people who did not know him.

One of the camper's occupants said Alexander pulled a gun from his waistband while he was hiding inside.
The victim pursuing Alexander then allegedly heard the sound of a gun being cocked and ran north on North 24th Avenue West. And Alexander ran the other direction.
The occupants of the camper were concerned that the victim was going to assault the woman who connected Alexander and the victim for the drug deal. So, they attempted to find the woman and victim, the complaint continued.
One of the camper's occupants arrived at the intersection of North 24th Avenue West and West Third Street, and saw a vehicle he believed had the woman inside of it.
Then the driver of the vehicle allegedly began firing out of its window toward the camper occupants and the victim of the robbery. The vehicle then sped away, and law enforcement followed it as it drove at an "excessive speed."
After evading law enforcement, the vehicle was stopped near North 24th Avenue West and West Sixth Street. Alexander was identified as the driver.
A ski mask and bullet casings were found in the car, and casings were also found at the intersection of North 24th Avenue West and West Third Street. A pistol was found discarded on North 25th Avenue West.
Residences on North 24th Avenue West had multiple bullet holes in them, the complaint read.
