Man accused in killing expected to enter plea in Virginia

A White Bear Lake, Minn., man accused of killing a Minneapolis man in 2005 and dumping his body in Neff Lake, near Aurora, is expected to enter a plea Tuesday in District Court in Virginia.

Andy David Wetherill, 27, is charged with one count each of first-degree murder, second-degree murder and interference with a dead body. Wetherill, of White Bear Lake, Minn., is charged with killing Gabriel William Gonzalez, 24, of Minneapolis.

A White Bear Lake, Minn., man accused of killing a Minneapolis man in 2005 and dumping his body in Neff Lake, near Aurora, is expected to enter a plea Tuesday in District Court in Virginia.

Andy David Wetherill, 27, is charged with one count each of first-degree murder, second-degree murder and interference with a dead body, St. Louis County Attorney Melanie Ford said Friday. Wetherill is accused of killing Gabriel William Gonzalez, 24. Gonzalez's body was found floating in Neff Lake near Wetherill's father's cabin on May 15, 2005. Wetherill was arrested in Minneapolis in August 2007.

He is in the custody of the St. Louis County Jail.
