Lofald to serve as Duluth School Board chair in 2022

This will be the third year in a row that Jill Lofald will lead the board.

Jill Lofald will serve as the chairperson of the Duluth School Board for another year.

Lofald was appointed during the School Board's organizational meeting Tuesday night at the UnitedHealthcare building.

The School Board appointed Rosie Loeffler-Kemp as vice-chair, Alanna Oswald as clerk for the third year in a row and Kelly Durick Eder as treasurer.

Also at the meeting Tuesday, Lofald, Loeffler-Kemp and Durick Eder were sworn in as School Board members after winning reelection in November. Amber Sadowski was sworn in to her first term as a board member.

The Duluth News Tribune was selected as Duluth Public Schools' official newspaper of record Tuesday.
