UMD to host student-run artisan market
The free public event Oct. 15 will feature over 30 student vendors, as well as raffle prizes from local businesses and concessions.
DULUTH — The University of Minnesota Duluth will host Art in Ordean Court, its second biannual student-run artisan market on campus, at 1305 Ordean Court on Oct. 15.
This public event, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., is aimed to foster a sense of entrepreneurship as well as provide art and design students the opportunity to sell their work. More than 30 vendors will feature student-made jewelry, ceramics, prints and more.
There will be a raffle with prizes from Duluth Coffee Co. , ALT Creative , Anndrea's Art Permanent Jewelry and UMD Stores. Concessions from Oasis Del Norte will also be available. Admission and vendor space is free.
