Holyoke Township house lost to fire

Four Carlton County area fire departments responded to the fire early Wednesday morning.

HOLYOKE TOWNSHIP — The owner of a house engulfed by fire escaped before it was destroyed Wednesday morning.

Wrenshall, Blackhoof, Kerrick and Esko fire departments were dispatched at 1:17 a.m. to 797 McCuskey Drive, according to a news release from the Carlton County Sheriff's Office.

Upon arrival, the house was found to be engulfed. No injuries were reported.

The Minnesota Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
