Chelsie Livingston and Dale Hovis, both of Carlton, plan to be married Aug. 2 in Elim Lutheran Church in Duluth.
Her parents are Ed and Sandy Livingston of Duluth. His parents are Loni Cran-Hovis of Duluth and Howard Hovis of Carlton.
The future bride, a 2002 graduate of Denfeld High School, graduated from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in Superior in 2007 with a diploma in practical nursing. She works at Cub Foods in Duluth.
The future groom, a 2000 graduate of Cloquet High School, graduated from Lake Superior College in Duluth with a vocational certificate in fire technology. He works for the Carlton School District and the Carlton Fire Department.
