Learn: Two talks will explore the role of women in music. At 6 p.m. Tuesday, scholar Kelley Harness speaks on "Literal and Metaphorical Voices of Women in the Early 17th Century" in Mitchell Auditorium. At 11:45 a.m. Wednesday in Tower Hall Room 3625, Harness and Van Evera will explore the sound and structure of music and discuss its relationship to gender, the church, politics and the social climate.
