The National Weather Service in Duluth says light snow will fall across the Twin Ports, Carlton County, the Arrowhead and North Shore and move into Northwestern Wisconsin this afternoon.
The snow could make already slick streets even slicker.
An inch or less accumulation is expected as the snow moves through quickly. Skies are expected to clear later tonight and temperatures for the next week will be cool, although about average for the season, with lows near zero and highs in the teens and 20s.
