The St. Louis County Auditor's office license service center at the Miller Hill Mall will reopen Monday.
The center, which was forced out of its old mall office in January to make way for the new Dick's Sporting Goods, now is located between J.C. Penney and Younkers at the other end of the mall.
License services will remain available at the downtown Duluth county courthouse, Room 214, through Friday.
The new mall center will resume its normal business hours: 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The center handles transactions ranging from updating drivers' licenses and passports to purchasing license tabs and paying property taxes.
St. Louis County, through federal funding from the Northeast Service Cooperative, was slated to receive high-speed fiber-optic cabling at the service center. That effort was able to bring high-speed broadband to all mall tenants at the same time. This gives mall retailers the ability to speed up credit-card transactions and any other services involving the Internet.

The service center's staff of 13 handles roughly 92,000 transactions each year.
