Letter to the editor: Practicing what you preach

There is much to be said about the letter "Vote for Real Change" in the Aug. 31 issue of the Budgeteer.

I have been brought up and taught that there is good in both parties and we must make success a combined effort.

Nancy Pelosi is good and gives much thought and research to what she says and does. We find the letter writer, though, does not have all the facts correct.

We in Minnesota must pay for all the nice things we have, and it is elementary that these things come from taxes.

How absurd the writer did not do more research and present it truthfully.

The second to the last two paragraphs of the letter were downright lies. This is America, and we will vote the way we want.

We will then respect, honor and follow our elected officials.
