Duluth’s annual collision of courts, concerts and comedy is back for a fifth year. Law Law Palooza, a fundraiser hosted every year by the Volunteer Attorney Program, will return April 28 to Clyde Iron Works.
The evening includes musical performances by local attorneys, judges and justice partners, as well as a silent auction and dinner. Newly appointed Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Anne McKeig will be this year’s featured guest speaker.
All proceeds from the fundraiser go to Volunteer Attorney Program, which provides pro bono civil legal services to low-income people across Northeastern Minnesota.
“This night provides a stage for us to celebrate the time and commitment of our volunteer attorneys, while also recognizing the tremendous continuing need for individuals in northeastern Minnesota to have access to quality pro bono legal services,” VAP executive director Erica LeMay Backstrom said in a statement.
Doors open at 5 p.m., with dinner beginning at 6 and the show following at 7. Tickets are $40, available in advance by calling (218) 336-1392.
