Georgia LaVoie and Andrew Lane, both of Minneapolis, plan to be married Sept. 15 in Christ the King Catholic Church in Browerville, Minn.

Her parents are Richard and Joyce LaVoie of Long Prairie, Minn. His parents are Douglas and Nancy Lane of Hermantown.

The future bride, a 1998 graduate of Browerville High School, graduated from the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minn., in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in sociology and from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in Minneapolis this year with a master's degree in social work.

The future groom, a 1998 graduate of Hermantown High School, graduated from St. John's University in Collegeville, Minn., in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in biology. He was a Peace Corps volunteer in Guinea, West Africa, for two years and is employed by the Natural Resource Group LLC in Minneapolis.
