Lake Superior College in Duluth named Trevor Wills as associate dean of business and industry, according to a news release.
When he starts in the role on Wednesday, Wills will lead the professional pilot, aviation management and aviation maintenance technician programs in the college's Center for Advanced Aviation. The center serves over 120 students, the release reads.
Wills is currently president of a Dollars for Scholars affiliate chapter in Barnum. He previously served as an executive officer of Northview Bank in Sandstone and taught finance, economics and management courses as an adjunct professor at the College of St. Scholastica, the news release reads.

He was an aviation maintenance technician in the Air Force and holds a private pilot license.
Wills is working on an educational leadership doctorate from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. He holds a master's degree in business administration from Wayland Baptist University and a bachelor's degree in professional aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
“I look forward to further expanding the productive business relationships LSC has established with industry partners including AAR, Cirrus, Lake Superior Helicopter, Delta, the Duluth Airport Authority and more,” Wills said in the release. “The need for well-trained aviation professionals in the regional aviation workforce is significant."
