Lake County voters eliminated both incumbents on the County Board in Tuesday's primary election, opting instead for some political newcomers and some familiar faces.
With all precincts reporting, the final results were as follows:
In the District 3 race: Brad Jones, 55 percent of the vote; David Houle, 24 percent; Scott Larson, 21 percent.
In the District 5 race: Rich Sve, 45 percent; Brian Christensen, 25 percent; Lenore Johnson, 17 percent, Dennis Swanson, 11 percent. Norman Southard and Craig Guzzo each tallied about one percent.
The top two candidates in each district advance to the general election.
