Christina Komula and Joshua Merrier, both of Duluth, were married Aug. 25 in Jay Cooke State Park in Thomson.
Her parents are Gary and Linda Komula of Ontonagon, Mich. His parents are Glen and Pamela Merrier of Proctor.
The bride chose Kirsten Ahola as maid of honor. Jenifer Rogan was bridesmaid.
The groom chose his brother, Derek Merrier, as best man. Jason Lundgren was groomsman.
The bride, a 2001 graduate of Ontonagon Area High School, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. She is a behavioral specialist for Stepping Stones for Living in Hermantown.

The groom, a 1996 graduate of Proctor High School, graduated from Rainy River Community College in International Falls in 1998 with an associate degree. He works for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway in Superior.
