Valerie Kirsch of New Hope, Minn., and Matthew Killian of St. Louis Park, Minn., were married Sept. 16 in Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Maple Grove, Minn.
Her parents are Steve and Gail Kirsch of Maple Grove. His parents are Nancy and Douglas Killian of Gilbert.
The bride chose her sister, Edie McIntyre, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Killian and Laura Peterson. Katelyn McIntyre was flower girl.
The groom chose Reed Frazeur as best man. Groomsmen were Nate Dehmer and Tim Killian.
The bride, a 1999 graduate of Maple Grove High School, graduated from Hennepin Technical College in Brooklyn Park, Minn., in 2001 with a degree in accounting. She is a business office representative for Minnesota Masonic Home Northridge Care Center in New Hope.

The groom, a 1994 graduate of Eveleth-Gilbert High School in Eveleth, graduated from Range Technical College in Eveleth in 1996 with a vocational certificate in carpentry. He is a carpenter in the Twin Cities area.
