Best meal eaten: Rabbit stew with mashed potatoes doused in the braising liquid from the rabbit; French green beans and apple tart. Prepared by a French chef at the home of friends in New York.

Favorite wine: Chateau Figeac, from the Bordeaux region in France. "I can't afford it anymore because of what's happened to the dollar."

Hobbies and sports: Sailing, golf, fly-fishing in Montana, cooking classes when traveling,working out with Rod Raymond.
